THERE are so many mobile phones in the market that it is often difficult to find one that stands out. Sony Ericsson's Xperia Pureness is one such phone.

The keys are hidden and only light up when touched. In terms of minimalist, chic designer looks, there is no other phone that can compare with the Pureness.
Functionality-wise, not everyone will find this an easy phone to use.
The illumination of a clear LCD screen is something one really has to get used to after being accustomed to bright colour displays.
The problem is accentuated when typing text messages. Sure, this phone looks good, but it is not for those with less-than-perfect vision and need brighter displays.
